Mind and Emotion

The difference between human and animal is that Allah give human the gift of the mind which enable us to differentiate right and wrong, make sound judgement, to develop ourselves to become much better.. without our mind, we are like animals which are gifted with instincts..

well how about emotions? some expert believe animals also have emotions but it is not proven scientifically yet but who knows, Allah can create anything and everything is possible to Him..

as far as we are concern, mind and emotion are two main driving force of thinking process.. these two are the two extreme in a spectrum of forces driving the thinking process..

so, who is on which extreme?.. by nature, man is widely distributed on the spectrum inclining towards the mind and woman is widely distributed on the spectrum inclining towards the emotion.. although there are some rare occasion that the distribution is off the normal grid.. this shows that man thinking process is mainly influence by the mind and woman is influence mainly by the emotion..

this is the reason why man are better in becoming leaders and woman are better in caring for loved ones.. this does not make man are better than woman or vice versa.. it shows that in order to do somthing, say something, feel something, solve something, or think about something, we can view it from two general prespective although each individual perspective are unique..

now comes to why man never understand woman and vice versa.. this is because both of them are thinking from their own perspective with their own thinking process.. of course they will not understand each other because they are not seeing what the other gender see.. if u are book lovin type u;ll come across the book call "Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus".. it is true in the sense that when compare between these two planets, it is opposite to each other, in terms of rotational direction, orbit and atmospheric condition.. so those fr venus will never understand those from mars because there are accustomed to each own culture and each own abilities and weaknesses..

unless, they are willing to go outside their comfort zone and start thinking from both mind emotion.. meaning making their driving force for thinking both mind and emotion is complete balance.. balance/equilibrium/wasatiah is an important key in this world.. without balance things will go chaotic and results in destruction..

back to the topic at hand, what is between venus and mars? of coz it is the earth.. careful study shows that earth has both elements found in venus and mars although not all and the result is this planet is flourishing with lifeforms and beautiful scenery.. the point is if human starts to balanced out they thinking process's driving force, they can do much2 more than what they can realize..

Clear example is during the time of Rasulullah, there are war and battle skirmishes occurs and the first battle which is the Battle of Badr by which 300 muslims fought against one thousands Quraisy ppl that oppose them and only equipped with only branches of Tamar.. in the end the muslims won the battle.. y is these ppl underequipped, unexperienced able to win the battle? this is because they've unleashed the full potential of human body by synchronizing both their mind and emotion in a single goal.. to fight for Allah..

normally, the balance is slightly off due to the nature of human however there are some cases that balance is thrown off very far resulting in either thinking based solely on the mind or thinking based solely on the emotion.. this will result in the unsound decision making and decision that satisfy oneself only or decision that satisfy other ppl only which can result in accumulation of emotional and mental stress that consequently have predisposition towards mental or emotional illness should the person unable to bear it.. side effect includes mixing professional matters with personal matters, religious matter and non-religious matters and so on..

there are also condition where someone is lost in thinking using the different driving force resulting in that person not becoming themselves.. it is hard to find ur way back once u r lost unless u still remember sumthin that reminds of who u r when u using ur usual driving force to think.. the situation is often being confused with those who able to synchronize their mind and emotion.. it is alwiz seen in when ppl are striving for sumthin and have the potential to lose what they hold on, ppl that are in love, ppl that recently experience heavy or severe mental/physical/emotional trauma.. the difference between those that able to synchronize their emotion and mind is that the decision, the judgement and know when to act in adapting to the ever changing environment and accepting it..

what would happen if the two driving force in the human body have different point in viewing sumthing regardless of which one is dominant? simply put it will result in decision that keep on changing rapidly in order to satisfy both driving force or decision that is made by dominant driving force for thinking that make that person being unhappy, suppressing the other driving force which consequently result in that person unconsciously making decision or act based on the suppressed driving force.. they don't realize it unless someone show it back to them how they act and let them view from third person perspective.. so what will be the consequence of these unconscious act? it can affect anything that is related to that person or other person when the act is busted or made known and ended with somebody having unexpected heavy physical/mental/emotional stress..

the point is to balance out both ur mind and emotion.. u need ur mind to make sound judgement and u also need ur emotion to make judgement that is not selfish or disheartening to other ppl or to urself..
